"That's a good point. Next time I pee on a Starbucks couch and throw straws and napkins at a barista, I'll just yell, "YOU DON'T KNOW ME OUTSIDE OF STARBUCKS! YOU DON'T KNOW ME AT ALL!" and that should do it. "-LizzieCurry

In CO.
He was always out of breath.
From what I hear...it's the norm.

I can only speak for when I saw the show on 12/29, but he was only slightly out of breath towards the end of the song but understandable with the incredible notes he hits in this number, and he comes back really strong in the unofficial reprise a few seconds later.

With Clay Aiken in Spamalot, all of Broadway is singing a collective "There! Right! There!" -Me-
"Not Barker, Todd is the only person I've ever known who could imitate Katherine Hepburn...in print." -nmartin-

I caught the feature by chance this morning. It was a short interview sequence with sierra, SRS, and menken- Along with a few clips of the show that have been seen many times before.
HOWEVER, the cast will be performing two numbers tomorrow morning on the show.
PS- That's a super early call for the morning after opening don't you think?

I think they prerecorded the performance.

Thanks guys for the link...
It does not look like its UNDER THE SEA- its looks like a gay Mardi Gras- sort of disorganize and all over the place....and utterly confusing! I really dont like Ariel's tail with her feet on "heel-ies" .. its so distracting...
well- I will see it tommorrow... I hope it looks better onstage.. I am still keeping an open mind... I just downloaded the cartoons and I will see it tonight...hopefully I will enjoy the show tommorrow...

Jaystarr - I have to say I completely agree with you regarding the GMA performance. The tail isn't so bad though in the theater.
I saw the show about a month ago and I thought it was all over the place. Hopefully it has improved since then.

well. things look different onstage.. and I know that they cannot exactly duplicate what's on the cartoons...
I just wanted to see how would it translate onstage in live colors and also the performances of the actors bring life to the characters and hopefully I will enjoy the show tommorow.. i hope so...

Posted: 1/11/08 at 3:54pmFlying...I saw it here in Denver also. He was not out of breath the evening I saw it. It can sometimes be "the norm" here due to the altitude. But oxygen is usually provided if needed for performers. There is also a packet that actors get before they get here to help them deal with the altitude. I think they felt it a bit. A few hopped on their bikes and rode back to their place of lodging after each performance. Norm Lewis was riding his the evening I met him. Not an easy thing to do each night when you have been here for a short time! (Unless you are in Norm's shape!)

I am seeing it with my sisters and one of them is a big fan of TLM (as a child) so I am sure well have a blast... I read all the reviews (in Yankeefan thread) and I guess I will be keeping my mouth shut and wont mention any bad reviews to my sister (they dont read BWW- so they really dont know what to expect) I just dont wanna ruin it for them, they are looking forward for this for the longest time...theyre not really theater nerd like I am .. so i think they'll like anything they see....
I will definitely keep an open mind... and wont say anything during the show or intermission , if I see things that I dont like... I will keep it to myself. Who knows.. I might end up liking the show..
Besides.. you tend to enjoy a show when youre with a bunch of people...So hopefully well have a blast... well stage door too... so i guess that will be fun !
