The Tanglewood concert of A Little Night Music with Christine Ebersole is being streamed live NOW on WCRB 99.5 Boston FM and on the web. There's a bit of an echo because of the shed, but it's not bad at all.

I love how they don't even attempt a mid-atlantic accent.. they all sound like they come from Pittsburgh.
Thank you so much! Was this broadcast announced?

Could be worse. They could be using Boston accents.
(And I can say that because I'm from Boston.)
Christine gives a beautiful SEND IN THE CLOWNS. Just wait.
"Could be worse. They could be using Boston accents"
For some reason it feels really cool to be listening to this on the radio.
Not a great cast. Christine is channelling Ethel Merman as Desiree. And whoever is playing Frederick has muffed several lines.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
Yeah. Christine's performance is quite odd. But just wait until SEND IN THE CLOWNS.

I really like Bobbie Steinbach as Madame Armfeldt. She's a Boston jewel.

Fredrik is Ron Raines. When they did this in Boston they were all carrying scripts. Strange that he's muffing lines.
So far I'm enjoying much more than the BBC Betty Buckley concert version.

Love Carl Magnus! Great voice. And so perfectly pompous.

My favorite version of Every Day a Little Death is the one on the Putting It Together CD with Julie Andrews and Rachel York. So poignant.
"Weekend in the Country" never fails to give me goosebumps!
Bobbie Steinbach will be playing Edith Beale in the Boston production of Grey Gardens alongside resident Boston actress Leigh Barrett in the Edie role.

Sounds like they're giving us the Pops' greatest B'way overtures. I'm lovin' it.
I have to say, Christine really wasn't doing it for me, but her "Send In The Clowns" was lovely.
I loved her "Send In The Clowns" as well. Unfortunately, the rest of the time she sounds like Little Edie.
I agree. Her performance of that song was sublime. I wish the beautiful qualities of her performance during "Send in the Clowns" would extend to her performance of Desiree's dialogue.
