I don't think anyone could replace the original cast I miss them. It'll be so weird not seeing the urchins together. We have to find them a show where they can all stick together. -Penny

The original cast was, I think, the best ensemble cast on Broadway this past year. Everyone was flawless.

My friend saw this months ago. She was not that crazy about it. Another friend who went with her to see it thought it was the most awesome show ever. She didn't know why he was so excited about it.

I think the show should go. I loved it, I saw it 4 times before the cast changes but I don't think its worth seeing it suffer like this. I mean, yes, it is a good show but I wouldn't call the cast the best ensemble on Broadway this season. They were all extremely talented individuals but the show just didn't catch fire and as talented as I'm sure the new cast is too, I just don't see it happening that it picks up in the next few weeks.

BlueWizard- Kerry Butler was amazing. Every time I saw her perform I had tears, especially the last time I saw her. She was the perfect Audrey. People were just to used to Ellen Greene and expecting her performance and when they didn't get it they didn't think it was right. That is my opinion. <3 Kerry. -Penny

I'm sad to see it close obviously. It was entertaining, but didn't leave a very strong impression, and months later I don't remember loving it or wanting to see it again. I thought Kerry Butler was bland and playing the same person she plays in every show she's in, but we don't need to start up that argument again. I wouldn't say it was the best ensemble (I would say AVENUE Q!), but the OBC was talented. I haven't heard many bad things about the new cast though. It's unfortunate that it closed in less than a year, though.

It's making room for Little Women at the Virginia...so I can't complain. (That is...if Little Women is as good as I hope it is going to be)

Then again...I was never really a fan of this show to begin with. I didnt' even think the OBC was that good...HUnter was the best of the original cast, but I think he's far better in the Producers anyway.

I would say "save the show" if Hunter was still in it. Then again, if Hunter was still in the show, closing probably wouldn't be an issue...

I didn't like Kerry in the role and it had nothing to do with Ellen Greene. I just didn't like how she played it, she didn't make me care about Audrey at all. However, one of the times I saw it, I saw Jessica go on as the understudy and thought she was 10 times better. I was glad when she got to take over the role.

I loved LSOH, but it is suffering. It would be nice for LSOH to stay open for another few months, but it has to close, like every show will one day.

Someone's actually rtying to start a petition to keep this show open. Some people are just dumb.
