I'm currently watching the second airing of it for the Buffalo/Toronto area, and Liza sounds much better than I thought she would.
My Own Best Friend was fantastic.

It just aired on PBS in Los Angeles. They had it listed in the program grid as the" Liza from Radio City Music Hall" show. Someone in programming must have been high.

It's so bizarre that it's not airing in LA. The LA station that's listed is in San Bernandino.......very, very odd.

Posted: 12/4/09 at 7:13pmNeal.. It has aired. And it is airing again. This past week they had it listed as the Liza Radio City Music Hall show on the program grid. I tivo'd it and it was Liza's At The Palace. Someone at programming is messing up with the listings. That link I posted earlier with airdates is correct.

Thanks again for the update. When I check TV Guide and KCET's site for LA, it doesn't show. Another program is shown as airing. I'll watch it tonight to see if, by chance it will air - just to be on the safe side. I'm in Glendale, and it's Charter Cable here.
The San Bernadino cable channel is the only one that shows for the greater LA area.
I don't have TIVO. Hell, I don't even have a cell phone. I'm so behind on the times, huh?

One observation about the broadcast: I just caught up with it on Netflix instant watch and was shocked at how badly framed some of the shots were. The wides and medium close-ups in particular were lacking headroom and even cut off the top half of Liza's head.
Did anyone notice this on the PBS/DVD versions, or has Netflix framed it incorrectly? The show itself was quite good, and count me in as one of those who enjoyed the Kay Thompson segment.
