Lord of The Rings...The MUSICAL!?!?

Ok so im hearing that they are making the Lord Of the Rings into A musical! Is this true and if so...cool! but kinda strange I mean if anybody has read the book or seen the movie, there are alot of scene changes and a ton of violence! how are they going to do that on stage?? but you know it is broadway so,I guess its possible! How do You think they'll do it?? I have no idea!

i did check broadway.com...i guess i gotta get my eyes checked cuz i just found it! thx...i gotta just stop posting i have no idea what I'm doin...

Don't worry, I doubt anyone has done either of these things, so we should be safe.

The first preview is Saturday. It was delayed 2 days.

This whole LOTR musical hmm... well to me it sounds very weird. I mean making hobbits break out into dance #'s? I hope they stay true to the book's original story

Ive only read the story and have never had an urge to see the movie.

Brent Carver is leading the cast in Toronto. he won the tony for kiss of the spider woman. he should be fantastic

The music should be really interesting. India's (and Bombay Dreams') AR Rahman and a Scandinavian band (sorry don't know the name) are collaborating.

I can't wait to hear it.
