Thrilled to see anything for TITANIQUE.
Jerry Mitchell being eligible for his KINKY BOOTS choreography is…something! I understand that it has never been seen off-Broadway but, it’s just odd.

Lortel's have always been very play focused. Same is true this year.

I'm so happy to see Wolf Play get as much recognition as it did in these, though it's tough competition. I had forgotten how many great plays we got off-Broadway recently.
Was also excited to see american (tele)visions, You Will Get Sick, and Once Upon a (Korean) Time get acknowledgments at all.

Well, it’s largely because there are often more plays in an off-Broadway season than musicals.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."

I didn't catch as many Off-Broadway productions this season as I would have liked, but...
- I'm happy for Nicholas Barasch getting a nomination for The Butcher Boy. It was a flawed show but I thought his performance really anchored it.
- I'm sad Linda Lavin missed out on a nomination for You Will Get Sick. It's one of the best performances I saw of any show over this past season.

Thought there should be more love for the Downstate cast. Thought there would be more love for Groff and Radcliffe.

Gotta say that jumped out at me, too, but I haven't seen a lot of the other nominees.

Odd is right. It caught me so off guard at first I thought it was some weird sort of mistake.
