Lost In Yonkers revival?

I have been hearing about this benefit reading for a while. So excited about it. I wish the tickets were a little bit cheaper and I wish that Elaine Stritch were still alive to play grandma, but Rita Gardner will be incredible! Loved her in Wedding Singer.

They haven’t announced Bella yet. Any guesses on who it could be? I would say to Benanti or Celia Keenan Bolger but they both have performances on that Sunday.

We need Lost In Yonkers back in New York! It’s always been my favorite play (i love the film too). I wonder if this benefit could turn into a Broadway revival or even an off Broadway commercial run? It has a great cast, minus the mysterious unannounced Bella lol.

Vernon, I would absolutely LOVE to look in his drawers too. I also love Rumors! This one on the 9th is a benefit for Neil. Are you going? I’m gonna try to snag a cheaper ticket.

Did it ever actually open? I saw high school production of "rumors" and thought it was hilarious, like 20 years ago, so I'd be all for it!

It did open and ran for a week. It was supposed to be paired with Broadway Bound which never got up. The production was fine just, as said, they couldn't give away tickets.
