He went on a couple of times with Tina. She talks about him in her broadway.com interview. Here's the link:

I saw the show tonight and.... they were pretty damn cute together. Kevin and Laura were very comfortable onstage - I was afraid she'd have to "warm up" to him or even the role after being away for so long but it was spot on.

Their "Not that kind of thing" was especially adorable - they were both laughing and having so much fun - you never would have known they had never gone on together... which I didn't realize until later.

Laura's voice sounds better than it has even since the beginning of the run - and the whole show went so well. The new "Mr. T" (name escapes me right now) blended right in and I thought he was great - but he sings his bit in the finale in a higher key.

The show was great - there was an interesting section of constantine fans in the back of the orchestra who seemed very happy to see him - I spoke to some of them in the restroom and it was their FIRST broadway show ever and they all wanted to know if broadway was "usually this much fun"

I didn't know how to answer that (since Wedding Singer is my guilty pleasure) but I told them they should for sure try out some other shows!

Now what would you say if today I started over? Without a thing but this taped together four leaf clover And I'll pretend like everything is already alright And I'll run toward the sun till the castle's out of sight

I think I remember being told from a friend who had spoken to Kevin after the performance at Hofstra that the couple of days rehearsal he had with Tina for that was his first time rehearsing with Tina. The entire rest of the time he'd rehearsed with Laura, so... that was a lot of rehearsal time with Laura, I'm sure! :) And I'm sure Kevin is who she rehearsed with when getting ready to come back into the show. So it doesn't surprise me that they had good chemistry!

Did anyone catch the Today Show performance? I had the tv on while I was getting ready for class, but I had to leave too early.

Just a reminder that RIchard Blake is out this Saturday.

Wow, I would have killed to be at the show last night...Kevin on as Robbie...for the first time with Laura. A new Mr. T, Joberg back in the cast...I missed Laura a lot. I love a lot of the little things she does.

I hope I can catch the Today Show appearance in the morning. I don't have to leave for work until 8:45am. Watch them put them on at 8:50am. Oh well, I guess I can record the last 15 minutes if they're not on until then, but I wish it was earlier than later.

Hope this gets more people interested in seeing the show.

Haha, OOPS. I don't know why I thought it was today. Well, I have an 8 am tomorrow so I'll probably still miss it. I doubt there's a chance they WON'T perform after 7:45, so yeah.

But tell us all about it tomorrow!

Yay, I'm glad you liked it! I'm trying to find a way to go again, I just have no one to go with. I'm glad you liked Kevin, I've only heard him at the Celebrate America concert. You can always hear Stephen on the CR. Not that it's exactly the same thing ..but you know what I mean re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread..

^Stephens AMAZING (and one of the greatest comediens ever), but it makes me very happy to know that kevins so awesome too re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread. actually, I dont believe I've ever really heard anything bad about EITHER of them! I didn't really read many of the critic reviews or anything, but I've seen a bunch of audience-member reviews and I dont really think there's been ONE single one thats been distinctly negative about either of them! which is awesome. hehe

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

It (Today Show) was pretty cute. Constantine did a great job of promoting the show. I was completely thrown by the lyric changes! But that's okay. They really didn't emphasize the bum. :o)
