I don't post much, but I do read every day, except ive been out, so i wanted to say hi again to you all... Phantom, I love that orchid avi, way cool... Patrick, positive vibes coming your way... u other lucky folks, have fun at the show...

Back to the subject of TDF... since they are a not-for-profit 'development' group (d'oh!), does that mean they select shows to sell discounted tix, but give the show the full value? like a subsidy?.... Or do they work some other way. Info I looked up just said they supported development... or developed support, or... yeah.

Ahhhh! Patrick! We'll miss you. *good vibes*

I think TDF gets tickets based on how the shows are selling.

re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

Hey everybody I'm new to this whole posting thing, definitely not new to Wedding Singer though. I've also been reading this thread since it started, but I just joined BroadwayWorld so I could post on it too.

Ummmmm haha there's so much I could write about the show but it would probably be the longest post on here so I'll just leave it as I have seen it many many times, it is the most fun I have ever had, and I absolutely love the cast to pieces and am so upset that the ensemble is now starting to leave and break my perfect show re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

Ok I have a question. If I wanted to write a letter to the entire cast, which I read that one of you (maybe more?) did, how would I address the envelope to the theatre, and did you basically write "Dear Cast..."? Haha ok that sounds a little dumb my way of asking that is, but eh whatever.

Hope to be talking to you all much more soon!

re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

so i deff had a dream about the wedding singer last night! lol. laura was back and i was in the front row and all of the songs that the cast was singing was different. they had pretty much replaced all the songs. then at one point, laura was sitting at a table (dont ask me where this came from) and she all the sudden moved her chair and it collapsed. then the entire table that was behind her along with all the chaira around that table collapsed! it was hilarious and the way the cast (especially laura) handled it was adorable. but then i woke up :/ lol. but yea, it was pretty exciting!

TONIGHT!!!!!!!!

re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

Not sure if this was already posted, but I just saw on The Wedding Singer's website an announcement that Constantine Maroulis and cast members will be performing "Single" on The Today Show this Thursday, October 5th.

That's some good promo for this show. I really liked the way Constantine performed that song in the show. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

O man! im so excited for that today show performance! but our vcr doesnt work so i cant record it :/ hopefully i can make myself get up early enough. does it have the time listed somewhere of the performance cause i managed to find that for the last time they were on and it wasnt til like 845 or maybe even later. idk.

re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

Aww, I got all excited for the today show performance, but then I remembered I have classes straight through from 8-11:30 and we don't have a VCR..that sucks.

Anyway, glad you're feeling better Amanda! And don't worry about Stephen's songs sending us all to hell. I do crazy amounts of community service work and one year the organization I volunteer with especially focused on working with the Special Olympics. I still listen to the song and think it's hilarious. As long as it doesn't really hurt anyone, we're good, I think. And it doesn't, so just enjoy. re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

You all saying when you're seeing the show again has me kind of re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread. because I don't know when I'm going to get to. I was supposed to go back to NY in early November, but I can't now due to a show I just got cast in.

*squees*
LAURAAAA!!! I am SOOO happy that I actually now have a definite chance of seeing laura!! re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread. If I cant see idina in wicked!london, this will surely, SURELY help soften the blow. hehe

oh by the way, anyone going tonight perhaps?? I hope sooo, I want to hear about it! :)

And Amanda, I know, arent stephens songs the greatest? re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread. I swear, it is NOT possible to listen to/watch them and not be cracking up hysterically by the end of each one. haha

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

Glad he was at Tina's last official performance. Stephen took Tina's bow and gave her the last one (normally his bow). So sweet!

re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

Yeah, this is Kevin's first time on with Laura. And yeah, I'm pretty sure Constantine is back, too. I think that Greek festival thing he was at was only over the weekend.

aww, yea, im sure he has a good reason, but that is kind of odd.

I know Stephen wasn't feeling very good all weekend and Kevin wasn't around to go on, so.. I'd probably take him being sick as his reason for being out.
