re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

Tina probably only has all those shoes because she keeps losing them into the audience, Phanty.

Haha, that was really cute. I say they should get her shoes with straps, because she has such a knack for kicking them off.

Awwww I miss her re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread. All this talk about her and her crazy shoe kicking is reminding of when she was talking to me about the very first time she went on as Julia. She said she had relatives visiting and they had just had this HUGE dinner and she brought them back to the theatre and they were just hanging out when she found out she was going on. They didn't even have all her costumes ready and she said they had to run to Macy's to get her shoes. It was hilarious.

But yes shoe straps for the Tina would be a miraculous idea although I am very disappointed with all the times I have seen the show Tina has never kicked off her shoes when I was there. BOO!!! But it was quite funny when she threw the bouquet straight up into the air and it fell straight down into the orchestra and towards the end of her run when her and Stephen were playing the game "Can You Hit The Balcony?" and she smacked the lights and you just saw this little shower of petals come flying down, lol!

"Can You Hit the Balcony?" That's awesome! Although I'm forgetting what Stephen would be able to throw into the balcony, besides guitar picks...he doesn't throw anything else, right? Except that one time with the microphone, haha...

I don't know when her first performance was, good question.

And the whole hitting the balcony I think it was just to see if Tina could hit it with the bouquet, lol. I don't think it involved Stephen, he just got a kick out of watching Tina try. Hilarious.

And the 2 shows today were probably because of the holiday weekend, they did the same thing Labor Day Weekend: cut out the Wednesday night and added another Sunday.

Her first performance was the first Saturday after the show opened. I had the pleasure of being there. She didn't seem nervous at all, and I never would have known that she was the standby except that her clothes didn't fit too well. Obviously, she was a little more comfortable in the role a few weeks later when she went on again.

"The goal was to try to get the bouquet into the balcony before October 1. I was at the matinee on September 30 and she hadn't done it yet. Does anyone know if she got it?"

The bouquet made it to the balcony at Tina's last official show which was 10/1.

Lots of Tina love in this thread. I miss the girl with golden hair's Julia.
