re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

At student rush? I assume so, as long as you get there early enough, which I didn't.

Will you be there with more than one person? If you split up and just call each other with what's available you should be able to get what you want, I think.

re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

The only student rush tickets they sell now are front row, and they are set aside for every performance. They typically start at 101-115 and then go front row on the sides for a total of about 23 tickets. The box office opens at 10 on weekdays and Saturdays and at 12 on Sundays. People definitely line up starting as early as 8 am on any day of the weekend (it depends on the day though because I've gotten there at 9 and been first on a Sunday and I've gotten there at 9 and been 15th in line on a Sunday), and not as early on weekdays but people do still show up pretty early depending on the day. If you're going on a weekend plan on getting there early because the line can sometimes be so long they run out of rush tickets, especially since they stopped giving out any unsold tickets as rush. Good luck!

Do they still sell second row rush tickets, or is it completely just the front row?

I'm trying to get a friend of mine to go with me, and I think she'd be better off in second row. I mean, I'd miss less too, but she's really short (think 5'1" or so) and since the stage is high I don't know how much she'd miss.

Yes they only do front row, that's it. And I'm 5' 1" and have gone with people smaller than me, it's really not that bad. It's not like they sit on the stage and do the show that way. You can't see their feet and at one point when Robbie crawls on the floor and that's about it. Other than that, you don't miss any of the action, it's actually a better experience in my opinion, having seen it over a dozen times sitting up there and only sitting somewhere else the first time I ever saw the show, because you really feel like you're in on the show, not just watching it. The only problem I ever had was when I didn't get 101-115 and I got aisle on the right side and that was definitely obstructed, imagine what it would be like for the people sitting all the way in on the right or left. But center front row really are great seats.

Tchi4Lif188: For Saturday you should be perfectly fine getting there between 8 and 9. I went last Saturday and it was a lot emptier than I've ever seen it; I got there at 8 and was one of the first and the line didn't really start forming for a while, it was surprising. I'm probably going on Saturday too and am planning on getting there around 8 again. I'm seeing the matinee though. Maybe I'll see you on the line!

re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

Constantine was in Dallas that Saturday so I think there was some impact due to that. That is very interesting. I think he does impact sales in a very good way.

The Today Show was amazing publicity for the show. I think it is great NBC promoted the show. Constantine was wonderful in the performance and so were the rest of the cast members who made it. Who are they? I have not seen the show and I know you guys know all of them. Kevin was there instead of Steven and I think Amy, who plays Sammy's girlfriend was there. Kevin seemed like a wonderful guy just watching his reactions. Those of you who love the show must have been happy the show got this exposure.

re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

My friend and I decided to stay with the second row tix (being they are center orchestra) rather than take the box seats his other friend has. I think we may have a better experience that way. Our WS Road Trip Day is not too far off now!

Oh that sucks I'm so sorry!!! I know all too well about parents being ridiculous and stupid, believe me, I feel your pain. if my parents ever did that I would move out of my house, granted I am 20 years old, and I don't know how old you are, but seriously that would be totally crossing the line. BTW your avatar is excellent, I love it!!!

And that is so sad about Matt Allen. Haha with Cara and Matt gone soon I'm not going to be able to watch the new Shane and Donatella or even look at them during every other couple dance for a little while! Yeah it's pathetic but hey I love the two of them, definitely my fave couple in the show. So sad re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

The last two nights a the place has been packed. Hardly an open seat. I can't understand why this show is not doing well. I guess it's because a lot of the seats are discounted. They sure are selling a lot of seats lately. I wish the grosses would increase.

If all the seats they sell are discounted, how are they ever going to break even?

Patrick, that was a mean thing to do. Why parents hurt kids in such ways, I'll never know. Sorry to hear it.
