Laura and Tina are both great in the role, and have each made it their own. They both have little nuances they do, different ways to sing, etc, and are both extremely talented. It is great to see either one as Julia.

yeah i went to the show on wednesday and stephens voice sounded fine, except during somebody kill me, his voice has been cracking lately during that, but it works for he song
I finally got to go last night, and both my friend and I (he saw an actual Broadway show for the first time) had a great time. Everyone did a great job in the show (in my opinion anyway)and stage dooring afterwards was very cool. I'm a bit tired today from the long trip back home, but if I have the chance to do it all again, I certainly may!

yea, wedding singer is always a fun time!! lol
Tina doesn't have a "country" accent. And, comparing Tina to Laura is like comparing apples to oranges. The girl with golden hair is the apple of my eye! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hmm..sort of random question, though not really.
I desperately want to meet Laura but haven't had much luck anytime I've been at the show. Does anyone on here know if she usually comes out Saturday nights? Or if not because its a two show day...I'm debating whether or not I should try it. Thanks :)

Tina was on as Julia tonight. And she hit the balcony with the flowers.

Yay for Tina!!
The last time I went was the last weekend of her run, and the bouquet hit the balcony edge and broke apart, falling into the orchestra. She asked about it at the stage door and I told her that it had broken apart and she seemed genuinely disappointed. So yay for "hit the balcony" success!

The only other time she did that was at her last "official" performance with Stephen. I told you all that wouldn't be the last time we'd see her as Julia. Isn't it funny that the first time she's back on she does the same thing?

was this a scheduled miss for laura or no? jw.
Inquiring minds want to know...
No, it was not scheduled.
And I thought Tina was sitting in her 5th floor dressing room making jewelry or writing a song.
Incase you all missed it, Tina and Kevin (Kern) performed at the Theatre Museum Awards on the 16th. There are pictures of them in the BWW photo coverage:

Kudos to Kern for wearing something new for once. I kid, I kid.

Stephen and Tina were really great tonight. I was disappointed Laura was out though. I havent seen her since her return. Constantine was hysertical tonight. He plays Sammy so dumb and hes faces and remarks were great. I miss Saldivar but I can deal with Constantine. It was a great show--upbeat--they all looked liked they were having a great time.
