Dear one, you've missed a beat or two. Sorry, but nothing gets me to watch soap operas. Not even.

Hey, whoever said Constantine's run is through 12/3, does that mean including the show 12/3 or no?

Not the slightest chance in hell. It costs more money to move than weekly running costs.

Good idea, though.

You also can't buy tickets for Avenue Q past Dec 24. Just because you cant buy tickets right now doesn't mean it's closing. Constantine leaving doesn't mean it's closing. In fact Constantine was suppose to leave before that and I will be really pissed if he ends up being there at closing. Take a deep breath and don't worry until an official annoucement is made cause you just never know. It could be tomorrow it could be in 3 months.

ugh all i know is, if the show does close, it cannot. I reapeat CANNOT close January 6th (wait wouldn't it be the 7th being thats a Sunday and the 6th is a Saturday)!! That would mean a day (or 2) before my birthday! Last year I spent my birthday watching Shoshana Bean do her last Wicked show! >:o I cannot lose TWS around my birthday this year! talk about craptastic birthdays.....

noty that if/when it closes would be a happy moment, just not my birthday :'(

No, I did not say, nor do I know more than Constantine will be there at least until 12/3.

I doubt they would close the show before the holidays. But someone just posted that "Curtains" is supposed to take over the Al Hirshfeld in March. So, who knows.

hi folks. i haven't checked this thread in a few weeks and OY! such changes! i'm takin the boyfriend and mom to see this 11/12. (my 2nd time, their first.) can y'all fill me in on the latest "dish", as the thread is too large to dig back into.

What's it lookin' like w/the following folks? Will they be in it at that time, or will we be misisng them due to vacations or "Donna Murphy M.I.A.-itis"?

1) S. Lynch

2) L. Benanti - she's back. has her record since been good, or will she return to phoning it in?

3) A. Spanger - what's this I'm now hearing?! Spanger is now out a lot?!? is this true? will she be in it 11/12? no vacations slated?

4) Matthew Saldivar. i loved him in the role. that Idol kid was supposed to be gone by 10/13 or something. is he now in it thru the end of this year? Will Matty be back in early Nov. as was originally planned?

5) Cahoon is still in it and has a good attendance record, yes?

If y'all could fill me on ALL of the above, that'd be super, as you all seem to know who is doing what over there.

You know, I didn't even notice a country accent during "Someday" with Tina...although I was so freakin' happy to be there, I could have just not picked up on it. I thought she has a Canadian accent when she talks, though?

Where did you hear a country accent? Just curious, as I have seen it many times with Tina and never heard it.

a country accent?? i never picked that one up... atleast not in the show.

when i first heard her speak outside of the role, at stagedoor, i swore she had a southern accent of sorts. which really excited me she might be southern, then I read she is from Newfoundland ... one of the north-easternly points of North America lol

and the next time i saw her the southern accent was gone. i think it was me just being weird... or maybe it was her being weird... you never know with her... or me.... wow. anyways!

1-Lynch has a pretty great track record so far, missing very few shows. usually announces his days off on his website/message board

2-Laura from what i understand has had a perfect record since returning

3-Amy has been out a few shows here and there recently, but is there most of the time.

4-Im not too sure if Matt will b e returning, but Constantine is there til Dec 3(my bday), and its rumored that the show will close in january, so there is still that one month where a Sammy would be needed..so who knows, hopefully Matt comes bakck

5-Kevin i think has missed less than 10 shows through the entire run, hes a trooper, even performing when sick. Out of the 25 times ive seen the show only once have i seen his understudy.

hope this helps

Regarding Constantine doing Jacques Brel, his publicist released this statement:

"Constantine has met with director and loves the show but there's no deal at this point."

As for Amy she HAD been out a lot and it was kind of a luck of the draw thing but lately she's had REALLY good attendance and she sounds amazing when she consistently goes on, compared to when she didn't call out but you could hear that she was hurting, especially during "Right in Front of Your Eyes". She's been doing really well lately from what I've heard and what I've seen.

As for Kevin, his attendance is still impeccable, haha. He doesn't like to miss unless he really has to and from what I have seen, he rarely ever gets sick either. So I wouldn't worry about him.

Tchi- if you are referring to the Macy's vid for the country thing, I took that.
And it was a silly, goofy appearance, Tina spiced it up a bit.

Plus, when you see her do the song with props, it makes a lot more sense.

And Stephen's voice sounded strong on Tuesday (except whenever he does "Somebody Kill Me" it makes me wonder why his throat hasn't exploded yet) - since he came back from being sick, I thought he's sounded better overall.

ok, thats good! lol.

liotte: yea, i was talking about that. sry, i didnt know she didnt do that on stage. i dont want you guys to think im not open to tina, cause i am. and she is very talented, i would never deny her of that. all im saying is with that clip that i saw, if she performed like that, i wouldnt like it at all. who knows, if i saw tina, i might love her in the role too. but i havnt, so im not judging. i have no room to judge. but i do know that i love laura and i dont think i would like anyone else in the role as much as i love her cause i think shes perfect!! but yea, i dont like this tina vs laura thing, i didnt think it would be that big of a deal, lol. theyre both amazingly talented!
