Someone told me there was something from Avenue Q, but I didn't see it...
Was Jeffry Denman part of the White Christmas bit? I could have sworn it was him...
And they said that Johnny was part of a fireman dealie in the Macy's parade, but I sure as hell didn't recognize him. They also got the name of his show wrong; Al Roker called it Johnny and the SPIRITS. It's SPRITES, isn't it?

I liked the Jersey Boys performance.
I thought Diana DeGarmo's performance was hilarious. She really is meant for this kind of stuff.
Rose--that was Jeffry! I felt bad though, they had to be on float with a giant Pillsbury Doughboy and it looked like they were gonna get thrown off a few times! I was so happy to see BdJ!!
Would someone who saw the Spamalot number let me know what they sang and who appeared? My niece saw it but she's never seen the show and I couldn't figure out who she saw from her description.
They sang Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life, but I don't have any cast info. Looked like they had a difficult time of it with the weather, but they were troopers about it.
I took her to see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels last year and she swore she saw Norbert up there - the way she described it it sounded like the Patsy role. I know it wasn't Norbert but I wondered who it might have been.

Spamalot did a restaged version of Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, adding in the chorus girls. . .I think they just wanted to show a little leg for the guys. The number with the umbrellas was appropo given the weather. . .
But you don't remember who was in it? Michael McGrath?
Yes, Mamie, it was definitely Michael McGrath.

i took my place in the cold and rain at 50th and b'way about 8:00 a.m. what a strange sensation to have to STOOP DOWN to see a parade, due to all those idiots with their umbrellas. it was a THRILL to see JULIE ANDREWS, even though it was a fleeting moment. she looked fantastic! the air force band was the best we heard at our spot. why were the tuba titans all playing sousaphones? as the parade drug on, top names were nowhere to be seen. where were barry manilow, sara mclaughlin (musta been warming up in charlotte's barn), john tartalgia (a banner with his name ... and then nothing)?? and those poor balloons were practically face down on the street. (poor uncle sam!) at 11:00 i sought the warmth of my hotel room and blissful sleep :)
I wish White Christmas could have sang more before they were cut-off. I like Jeffry Denman a lot. It didn't sound like Patrick Page as the Grinch, but if Bill Ryall is playing Old Max, who else could it be?
