What time does the mystery guest show up? I can't imagine he/she rolls into the bar at 4:00 AM unless it's Elaine Strich circa 1974...

The evening starts at 11, right?

Yes, the evening starts at 11. The Mystery Guest has confirmed an arrival by 11:30.

There should be BWW name badges. Will i have to come home drunk and start a thread asking--Who jumped onstage to sing 'I'm still here?' Who squeezed Patti Lupone's ass?, etc.

It's Fran Weissler, eh? Is that why she's in your icon? She's so HOT! What a terrific Johanna she's going to make in this reconceived Sweeney.

i believe fran already has plans to have christina applegate open the run as mrs. lovett. melanie griffith is confirmed for the beggar woman.

Fran is incredible at blowing a piccalo -- how else do you think she snagged Barry?

I am obsessed with Kate Pazakis.
I think she has one of the best voices in the city, and she is so funny.
Mostly Sondheim and belted high G's from my sassy Pazakis. Ahhh how to make a gay mans life complete.

Kate's signature piece (or it should be) is "Privilege to Pee" from Urinetown. That number never fails to rock my socks.

kate is great. i would cast her as tobias in the sweeney revival of non traditional casting.

Who'd be Sweeney?
I hear a rumor that Michael and Patti are going to alternate in the roles of Sweeney and Lovett. They're also going to share duties playing the hammered dulcimer for this production.

Y'all are getting crazy.
How much do I love Kate Pazakis? There aren't words to describe. I agree that her "Privilege to Pee" is the best ever!
Never fear. Kate will be there tomorrow night alongside Ray Fellman, the MYSTERY GUEST and me!

Admit it. The mystery guest is just Kip Kip, right? She really did get the role of the bird in the cage.
Oh, MilkyWhite, did you see when Patti went on as Oswald in Assassins? Talk about Tony-worthy!
Mikey Ceveris made an absolutely stunning Norma Desmond, too, back when he was Patti's stand-by.

My new favorite word! Along with unfortunate-looking.
Put that into a sentence, Robbiej, and you have the most nearly-perfect sentence ever.
"She sings fine, but her pussow is just unfortunate-looking."

what an interesting choice milkywhite..kate at tobias. I would personally make Pazakis the beggar woman. I would probably freak out if I saw that.

If anyone remotely resembling David Guest shows up on Friday, I'll have a heart attack.

Nevermind David Guest. Practice for the Most Obscure Song contest since the winner gets all of his/her drinks for free. If the SWEENEY TODD Mystery Guest sticks around long enough, he or she will help judge the contest!

The Mystery Guest informed me this morning that another cast member of the upcoming B'way production of SWEENEY TODD will be attending MOSTLY SONDHEIM tonight.
Amazing!

i was just wondering if we could get patti and michael to reprise their showstopper "I Will Never Leave You" as they did in their Tony nominated performances in SIDE SHOW.
