Oh my god! Patti and Mikey were so awesome! I will never forget "Tunnel of Love." Hugh Panaro's facial expressions when Mikey moved in for a kiss: priceless!

Hugh Panaro is one of my favorite people currently performing on Broadway. Seriously. If you haven't seen his Phantom, you are missing out.

I saw Hugh way back in the day when he had recently stepped into the role of Raoul. This was opposite the Phantom of Mark Jacoby. Good times.
And I did go see his Phantom. He's quite wonderful. I found the show a bit tired but Hugh is pretty darn incredible.
But imagine my surprise to see LuPone and Cerveris were playing Andre and Firmin.

Sometimes I get really tired of the whole SONDHEIM-Craze. I mean, really! Ray, the pianist, must get tired of it, too. I hope you all put a lot of money in his hat as it's passed because he deserves million$.

Of course, sometimes the evening should be called Mostly Jason Robert Brown.

No one does enough Irving Berlin. What about Mostly Berlin?

I would much prefer Mostly Schwartz. I think we should have a night where everyone has to do their own version of "Defying Gravity" and "Meadowlark."

Stephen has been very supportive of our fun on Friday nights. If you'll remember correctly, November was called SCHWARTZ FRIDAYS, not SONDHEIM FRIDAYS, as it had been called in October.
Then, in December we changed the name to our current situation, MOSTLY SONDHEIM.

Lauren Molina, the new Johanna, was the special guest. She was fabulous! She answered a lot of questions, chatted with the audience, and sang three songs, including Greenfinch! We all loved her.

Unfortunately, I missed the entire evening, though I hear it was a success. I was supposed to go with my friend, but he fell asleep and didn't wake up until 3:45am. How convenient! Someone needs a new alarm clock!!!!!
