MOSTLY SONDHEIM will feature a special guest this week! For odd contractual reasons, I am not allowed to tell you the name of the guest. I am allowed to tell you, however, that the guest has been cast in the upcoming Broadway production of SWEENEY TODD. Don't miss it!

The Mystery Guest will be singing more than one song. The Mystery Guest has also agreed to be interviewed by yours truly. We'll get to the bottom of all the scandalous casting rumors that have been circulating!!!

oh my god! It's Kip Kip! You were SO good Saturday in the cabaret! Why aren't you coming to Mostly Sondheim Friday? I think we'd outdo anything that mystery guest could put onstage...depending upon how he/she intends to play that instrument.

And P.S.
I WILL be there this week as I adore Sweeney Todd. I was up for the role of the bird in the cage(Linnet Bird), but I didn't get it. Jerks! I hope the bird they cast poops all over the stage!

I was at Sondheim last week, too, and someone dropped me. If you pick me up this week, be careful with me. I may be nasty, but I'm fragile!

I gots Gurley's opening and my final show this weekend. But I WILL come the next weekend and do it just for you. Because I feel sorry for you because you're you-know-what smells funny.

Kipkip is becoming a bit of an obnoxious diva and her suicide attempts are becoming just too dramatic for words...THERAPY, BITCH!

And as for being over-the-top...SWEET JESUS YES...and thank God. It's a fabulous night in NYC!

Yes, it's true! FREE DRINKS!

The owners have given us permission to host a "Most Obscure Song" Contest. Here's how it works:
1. Your song, as with every song performed in the evening, must be from a musical or by someone who has written a musical.
2. Everyone is welcome to participate.
3. At some point between 2 and 2:30am, the audience votes. If there's a tie, Kate and I break it.
4. The winner does not pay for a single drink. That's right. If the winner has had twelve margaritas, they are all free. If he orders twelve more for himself, those twelve are free, too. ALL DRINKS FOR THE WINNER ARE FREE.

Not a bad deal if you ask me. So, pull out some of those old trunk songs, people!
