Agree. Go in cold. And have fun.
It's very accessible for Shakespeare. The edits are very well done (& not made by Lloyd).
It should rack up nominations come award season.

Came by this afternoon after snagging $192 front row seats at TodayTix and I’m sooo glad I was able to watch this wonderful production! I agree wholeheartedly this is the most fun I’ve ever had watching a Shakespeare written and/or Lloyd directed play. Although this is only the fifth production I’ve seen Lloyd directed, I still enjoyed his signature minimalist and kinetic approach and may have actually worked well for this Shakespeare play. There were a lot of issues with the mic today though but nothing that they can’t fix. I love the music and Mason Alexander Park was just so fabulous! The two leads were both charming as well specially Hindleston (whose butt swings and hip swaying were so tantalizing!) but Forbes Masson stole the show for me as Leonato. He was a hoot in the comedic parts and devastating in the dramatic parts. Winter Garden is a barn and could have easily swallowed up Lloyd’s signature minimalist chair scenic design but the pink confetti added so much character and whimsy to the show. This is the best Jamie Lloyd production that I have seen and enjoyed since Cyrano de Bergerac. This is a must see for me. I highly recommend this. You will definitely have a wonderful night out!
