Yes, it's not meant to be taken serious.
However, last year when you took part, I do believe ALL SHOOK UP had a bunch of Munky nominees, and you were all smiles in Gambatese heaven.
They are my opinion of who should win? Actually, last year, very few of my personal choices won. Very, VERY few.
Most of these nominees I didn't care for - but other people did - which is why I nominated them.
Yes, of course I love anything related to ASU.
But I think you should include all the possible candidates in your voting, like the major broadway websites do in their voters choice awards.
Otherwise, what's the point of just using who you like? That would be like me making a poll/survey with only Tarzan, Wedding Singer, Wicked, Spelling Bee, and All Shook Up, and telling everyone to vote for their favorite out of those (which are a few of my favorites). That's just dumb.
Regardless of whether or not there's "a point" to the Munky Awards, they are the MUNKY AWARDS. I think the title implies that they're going to be his nominees. I think there'd be even less of a point having yet another Broadway.com/BWW-esque everyone's nominated sort of thing.
I don't think anyone should be taking this all that seriously. I can't believe so many people have complained on here. There were performances I enjoyed that weren't nominated, but what's the big deal? It's kind of fun, I sent in my picks, I'm quasi-curious to see who won...and that's that.
Exactly.
This "project" is the result of too much time on my hands in the wee hours of the morning, and a sheer curiousity for a real "Poster's Awards."
So, where is the winner's list?
I was just about to post the same thing!
I am counting them now.
THIS IS YOUR ABSOLUTE LAST CHANCE TO VOTE.
Should I post the winners in a new thread, or just put them on here?
And, would you like me to include the pictures/logos as well, or just a list? The images are more visually pleasing, atleast to me....
Let me know preference while I count.
I'd imagine this thread is fine...and if the images are more visually pleasing, then by all means, use the pix!
pics are lovely!!!! but for set and costumes put a pic of a set piece or costume!
I'm on page 4, where is my pic of Jenn and Josh?
