PM all votes to me by the evening of the 17th.
Best supporting actor/actress in a musical? what about Kevin Cahoon, Amy Spanger, Felicia Finley and Richard Blake in The Wedding Singer?
They didn't make the cut. Kevin Cahoon and Richard Blake didn't even come close.
Finley and Spanger came close, but I felt that the performers I mentioned gave better performances.
you know, count me out, i just sent you some votes, but i think everyone should be included, so count me out of it.
You think everyone should be included?
What are you talking about?
Did you even see all of their compeititon? No.
yes, i have seen all the musical this season, not the plays though, but i have seen many of them though.
well, include my votes if you want, but the best direction is for The Wedding Singer and the best featured actress in a musical of this season is Amy Spanger.
How can anyone take you seriously?
You wrote in Amanda Peet for best actress. That's a joke. She's a joke.
You voted for THE BLONDE IN THE THUNDERBIRD.
Enough said.
So do you have to have seen ALL the plays to vote? If not it just becomes a popularity contest, doesn't it? "Oh, I didn't SEE Festen, but I LOVE Julianna Margulies! I'll vote for HER!"
Maybe we should have to scan our ticket stubs and send them with our votes.

Sorry, but nominating "Lestat" for any award is just wrong unless you are doing the nominations for the Razzie Awards.
Where can we vote for best off Broadway employee with nothing to do?

Sure that is true, that is the case with most awards. Some of the voters have seen the shows and some have not, some vote for their "friends" or their "friend's favorite."
These are the "Munkey Awards" the nominating committee is Munk, and the voters are posters on BWW, those are the criteria here. They have no "significance." Yet, it is interesting to track what people on the board think. It is not so different than all the threads on the subject, just calculable.
I am glad to see them back.
Then don't nominate anyone, just let people pick who they want to win in each category. And don't put people down for voting for their friends Susanne and Amanda.

So glad it's not a "vanity" contest.
What Fun, count me in!
Thanks Munk.
Actually, Munk...I like your nominees! Very well thought out. Not to harp again, but I'd rather not see WIW and Wedding Singer get so many noms, but I'm not sure the Tonys will look much different.
Cool it's back and i was gonna pm ya to ask if you were gonna do them again this year. and to those who are unhappy with his pics CHILL OUT
I'm not voting til I hear from the guys at Price Waterhouse that this is on the up and up!
This seems like a lot of fun, munk! Thanks for taking the time to do it.
I'm confused about the special theatrical event category. Munk- isn't Chita being considered a musical and Bridge and Tunnel a theatrical event? (And Latinologues a god awful play!)?

Of course I will be voting dear. One question though, where is Ana in 3Penny? I thought she was amazing.

I will vote later also. But I do have to agree I don't understand Lestat being in the mix, but you omit Michael Ball. Sorry to be pesty but it does not make sense to me.
Ok Munk I know you hated Tarzan... but I'm sure it shouldn't be shut out if Lestat is still in. I'm seeing it tonight so I will draw my own conclusions,,, but from what I've seen the sets look good enough to get a nod.
