The Muny is the first theater to produce Come From Away. The current non-equity tour will close in May 2025.

I believe Rocky Mountain Rep performed Come From Away last summer, so I don’t think the Muny will be the first to do it.

Somewhat more interesting & varied than other recent Muny seasons! They usually repeat shows to death but this season has 4 Muny premieres, 2 classics that haven't been done there in 20+ years, and Jersey Boys.

DEH and CFA feel like such intimate shows and small stories for that massive stage. Unless the authors are giving them permission to add ensembles?

What bizarre LA CAGE ad copy. God forbid they say the words "gay" or "conservative." And The Muny of all places should know better than to say that the musical inspired THE BIRDCAGE. They share the same source material but there is no official line of inspiration from the stage musical to the Nichols film. Harvey's agent should be descending in 3...2...

I think either the new non-eq tour of DEH or the UK tour of DEH added an ensemble

There's been international productions of Come From Away that have added 4 ensemble actors. There's also the option to split some of the roles, too. I'd guess and say The Muny will do both.
