Going to Phanthom of the Opera and am trying to find out which would be better seats; front mezzanine row G 7&9 or rear mezzanine row A 109 &111. T he A is the Row behind G but there's a walkway between, but A are middle , Any advice please ?
Without question go for mezz G 7+9...row A rear mezzanie feels totally removed from the stage with the walkway in front

Anytime I have sat in the rear mezz at the Majestic has been a chaotic scene of talking, phone usage, and a feeling of being miles from the stage. Row G in the front mezz is a million times better.

I feel that I need to warn you that even Row G, a little on the side, is still pretty far from the stage. That theatre is just huge. I don't know what orchestra seats are available (and if they cost more), but I have always felt that the rear of the orchestra is better than the Row G of the front mezz. The Majestic is one of only two traditional theaters that I can think of which has a very good slope start half-way back in the orchestra. That makes the site lines very good. It also raises the front (and rear) mezzanine, and puts comparable seats further from the stage than in other theaters.
I have not been in that theatre in years, due to Phantom's long run, but I did see it many years ago from the last row of the orchestra, slightly on the side, and (while I would have preferred to have been closer) the seats were fine.

My advice would be to do TKTS if you are at all able. It's always there for around $80 and you will almost definitely get much better seats than these.

If you have nothing but $$ I would pick Front Mezz for the original Phantom staging every time. Especially over rear orchestra.
That said I agree with the above person who said TKTS (or at least find a good Coupon code )
Haters hate on Phantom but it is so much better than the all new national tour version. #Classic. Although the Vegas verson may have been my favorite.
