Last year, Leah Hocking was in both Hairspray (Broadway) and The Most Happy Fella (NYC Opera). Since the NYC Opera only has 16 performances, Leah was able to do both shows. The nights that Happy Fella and Hairspray both had performances, Leah's understudy went on in Hairspray. When Leah didn't have Happy Fella and did have Hairspray, she was in Hairspray.
It is likely that Marc will still be performing in The Apple Tree when Pirates of Penzance does not have a show. Otherwise, his understudy will go on.

Posted: 3/3/07 at 1:36amI just realized that I know one of the actresses in this show, Meggie Cansler. She did community theater here when she was in highschool and I was ASM for "Footloose" when she played Ariel. Sweet girl and an amazing performer. So glad to see her have some success.

Posted: 3/3/07 at 11:15amMarc hasn't left. When he has a performance of PIRATES, Sean Palmer goes on for him at THE APPLE TREE. When there is no PIRATES performance, he's on at THE APPLE TREE.
