Marc sounds SO excited! And well he should be. I've heard really good buzz too.
I'm trying NOT to get my hopes up, because we know how that can go around here.
Still, I must say I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

Posted: 3/16/07 at 6:31pmIt's good to hear Marc so excited about this project. I definitely can see the potential for this to be something pretty great. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but reports like this certainly sound promising!

Well, if the wind is blowing the right direction in Summer 2007 America, this could potentially be another "Grease" as far as films go.
...which was HUGE.
It could conceivably tap into that same summer movie audience... which was... pretty much EVERYBODY.

Posted: 3/16/07 at 7:00pmWouldn't that be something? For HAIRSPRAY to be this millenium's GREASE? And with two "Grease" stars in it: John Travolta and Michelle Pfeiffer

Ah, Michelle.
If you really want to know
What I want in a guy...
Well, I'm lookin' for a dream on a mean machine
With hell in his eyes.
I want a devil in skin tight leather,
And he's gonna be wild as the wind.
And one fine night, I'll be holdin' on tight...

TDiva, that's not true! I hardly saw a single gay in the entire audience. Maybe they don't have a gay in the Vegas village. No, these teenage boys were with girlfriends. Who were lusting after Zac Efron. The girlfriends that is.

Haha, nice one Marc. And TD, I laughed at both.
Just to add that I am looking forward to it, but liked it on stage. Not a reference to the gay boys jibe just above!

Obviously. The guys were clearly lusting after Travolta.
