March Recommendations for my 40th

Company is awesome, seen it 3 times.

Little Shop is very entertaining as well.

Moulin Rouge? ABSOLUTELY! If you loved the film, you will love the musical. You are taken on a journey the moment you step into the theatre! Derek McLain's set is simply stunning! The cast is incredible. If only you had seen Danny Burstein's performance as Harold Zidler. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Overall, the show is stunning! Highly recommend!

The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince

Will she be there?

I felt COMPANY revival was just ok. I loved Katrina Lenk in Indecent and Bands Visit but felt she was miscast in COMPANY.

Happy 40th and good luck on your choices! Also check out off-Broadway plays/musicals.

Ive also heard great things about Paradise Square.

Send like I'm in the minority about Moulin Rouge, did not like it. I'm generally not a fan of jukebox musicals though, and was a bit meh about the movie. I found the show itself boring, only really enjoying the ensemble dance numbers. I found the fact that a lot of audiences laughed in recognition of the songs to ruin the feelings that the actors tried to portray a lot.

Loved Little Shop so definitely recommend that.

Also really enjoyed Harry Potter, but I'm a big fan.

Enjoyed Company too, but i agree with the previous poster regarding Katrina Lenk, I've loved her performances in the past, but didn't feel this role (especially the singing parts) fit her that well. But Matt Doyle's not getting married is enough to call it a no-miss show! And the production is good.
