So last night was amazing! First of all, I get to the carlyle and I just love the place. It is amazing. Everyone sitting around us starts to talk and we are all excited. Everyone knows theatre and its great. Maria was amazing! She was so poised and hit every note and just superb. After the show we talked for a while, and I gave her my scrapbook which she fell in love with. She was so touched and gave me a huge hug. Her cellist even took a picture of her and I with the book for something she's making for Maria. It was amazing that I got to meet her and see her amazing peformance.
This is the most amazing thing though. Before the show started, a man sitting by me, who I had been talking to told me to look who just sat down. Stephen Sondheim was sitting 15 feet from us! I stopped breathing. It was incredible. To be in his presence. After the show I got him to sign my Passion C.D. and Passion Program from London. You could tell he doesn't like big attention, but he was very nice and gracious. I was shaking and I couldn't believe I was talking to Sondheim. Maria took the scrapbook over to show him and he was really impressed.
So not only last night did I meet my favorite performer, I met my favorite composer, and I am still in shock. It was an amazing night and I will not forget it. I have one really dark picture, which I wish I could've redone because you cannot really see us, but I will post that and pictures of autographs when I get back from New Orleans Monday (I leave today).
Well I am in shock! Thank you to all who contributed fan letters to the book. She loved them!!!

...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...
