Anyone know if THAT is the program they're selling at the New Amsterdam, or was it just the Opening Night gift? It looks striking.

The guy standing next to me on the A train last night had one. I was peeking over his shoulder, and it was quite nice. And he had the umbrella, too.
He was chatting with someone who is an understudy from some show, but I just couldn't place him.

Hopefully they will start selling them outside the theater an hour or so before the show like TARZAN did. If they do, I will buy mine tomorrow. If not, I'll just get it on December 19th when I see the show for the second time.
I bought my umbrella on Monday at lunchtime. Someone was manning the gift store for some odd reason. the umbrella is expensive but made very well, and it doubles as a weapon because the parrot head is solid something.

Approx. how much is the umbrella?
I think it was in the $40 range, but supposedly they are hand-crafted.
Yes, the umbrella is $40. I still haven't shelled out the cash for it yet, but I'm sure I will get one eventually.
i thought i heard someone say the umbrella was $50
All wrong. The 'cheap' version of the umbrella is available at about $40.00. The detailed and articulate version runs about $100.00.

I don't think that's correct. The past few days I've passed by the show I saw someone selling them out front.

That was the program handed out at the end of the night. The program they will be selling is not available yet. They have not been selling programs, of any sort, at the theatre. CD's, umbrellas, shirts..no programs.

There was a guy selling programs outside the theatre when I walked by earlier this week. And I saw someone with the program on Wednesday night while I was walking to the subway. I do know what the programs look like.

I'll confess I bought one off ebay, too, though I could probably get it from the theater for a lot cheaper. Happy Chanukah to myself.

When I saw the show, I asked about a program and was told they wouldn't have any until opening night.
Also, the umbrella with the parrot head was limited edition according to the guy at the counter. Anyone know if that's true?
i just bought the package thing. im excited.
