Set is gorgeous but not a fan of the costumes.

Christine's outfit looks like they just recycled Belle's ball gown from last seasons production of Beauty and the Beast, but the scenery certainly looks extravagant for that one scene. I'd be curious to see the design for the rest of the production and find out where they hide that staircase for the rest of the show!

It might be non-replica, but... it looks suspiciously like the movie...

Is this the same place that had that non replicated production of wicked?

The set is lovely. I also like the costumes. But really, the dance steps are so rudimentary that the statues in the clone productions would be able to learn them. I think I could do them, too ... and I have NO sense of rhythm, and dance like a three-legged elephant.
At least they used the staircase. The set in the new North American touring production is gorgeous, with all the mirrors. But I STILL miss the staircase.

Looks like they tried to recreate the film version with a thrift store wardrobe budget.
