I don't think they were really laughing at the fact someone was injured. Just the idea of how people are going to want to see the show just because of what's been going on. I agree though that it really isn't a laughing matter.

after watching it again I think you are right when i first saw it it was right after I heard and I was just pissed

I agree. It's still a serious situation.
It seemed like nervous laughter. I wonder if they saw the video for the first time on air. They ALL seemed IMHO to be shocked and didn't know how to react and the laughter just started, not that they thought it was funny.

Hanna's right, nervous laughter can occur when you're shocked. I've been guilty of laughing when something awful happened. Afterwards I felt awful about it, but I didn't mean to be disrespectful -- sometimes it just happens.
