The Seabee standing in the water could stand to lose a few. And why is Nellie kicking that poor dog?

I love McMullen, but was hoping for a little more thoughtful creativity as with his designs for A New Brain and Parade.
I actually prefer the RNT design.

Aw, it's way pretty.
She isn't just kicking the dog, though, she's stepping right on it, completely maiming and crippling it permanently. Which, honestly, is good, because that's a direction that this particular musical has never been taken in.

It is beatiful, but I'm with Mister Matt, and like the RNT much better.

I was expecting something a litle...moodier or more romantic. This certainly looks like a happy revival of SOUTH PACIFIC.

Y'know, if it weren't for the shadow of the palm tree, I would swear that the RNT logo looks like it was underwater.

I don't like it. It's not one of his better designs. And the three sailors up top have no feat. The whole things looks rushed and unfinished.

It looks like a semi- unfinished watercolor that a Seabee might have painted while stationed in the South Pacific.
