Megan Hilty

Megan wrote me a letter...im excited. she said that she's going to take over Glinda too. she wrote:

Dearest Darlingest Brandon,
Thank you so much for the pictures and your letter! I'm so glad you enjoyed the show! And yes...you heard right....I am taking over the role of Glinda once JLT leaves (either mid-April or mid-May). Please let me know when you come see the show again- I would love to get a chance to meet you again!
Thanks again for you letter- your kindness and support mean a lot to me.
Love Always,
Megan Hilty

re: Megan Hilty

She is absolutely AMAZING in the role...There is a bootleg somewhere of her doing the whole 1st act...but cant talk about bootlegs on any sites...they are illegal...

re: Megan Hilty

Wow. Fresh out of CMU and she's already landed one of the hottest roles on Broadway at the moment. Good for her.

re: Megan Hilty

"...you heard write...."

Although it may be true, something's telling me that Megan didn't "right" this.

re: Megan Hilty

I find it alittle suspisious that Megan would write the wrong type of form of a word. Since I run one of her fanclubs, as our first project we sent her a bunch of questions, one including "Any words yet of being the next Glinda?"... I sent them today so I'm assuming I'll get them back in 1-2 weeks. I'll post here then.

re: Megan Hilty

I highly doubt Megan would send out a letter with such an obvious typo. But maybe it was the typo of Brandonm when he was transcribing the letter. Though I found it a bit odd that Megan would confirm to a fan that she has the role when an announcement hasn't been made yet

re: Megan Hilty

Wouldn't the press know about it before a fan?

re: Megan Hilty

Man, she is so hot...

ANYWAYS...I recently found out that she was the top prize winner of last year's National Society of Arts and Letters musical theater competition, which I also auditioned for (not very well, I'm afraid). Anyone else do this competition?

re: Megan Hilty

I love Megan. Waaaaay back in 1997 and 1998 I did Brigadoon and Oklahoma! with her at a youth theatre in Bellevue (near Seattle - she played Meg and Laurey). She's the sweetest person ever. I'm so happy that she's taking over for Glinda. She's amazing. She's also the size of my pinky. I could fit her in my pocket!! It's amazing that she remembered me a few years ago when I saw her at a dance-wear store. She was 18 and I was 12 when we were in the show together. Soooooo sweet.

re: Megan Hilty

I recently wrote her as well and she wrote back too. She is one of the nicest people! I've met her 2 times and she is just great!
A dancer might dream to see her name in lights and mean it, but all she really dreams is to make someone else feel the way she did when she first saw a dancer. And that is so beautiful-Anonymous

re: Megan Hilty
