What really burst my bubble was last night, after Nine, standing outside of the stage door waiting for the women and Antonio to come out, who should come strolling across the street but Melanie. Now, everyone around me started clapping and shouting and taking her picture. Me? I gave everyone around me the dirtiest look, thinking to myself, "You all are outside of the stage door of Nine, so pay no attention to that lack-of talent!" Some people were taking pictures, and some even had the nerve to ask for her autograph on their Nine programs. She replied, "No, you have to come see my show." My show, she says? HER SHOW! No way!!! Never! She didn't need to parade herself and stand next to Antonio as he signed everyones playbills.
It also killed me that when she came over, Jane Krakowski was reaching for my playbill to sign...when a hoard of people pushed me out of the way to take photos of Melanie and see her. How rude! I will never forgive that Melanie woman!
I'm as jumpy as a virgin at a prison rodeo!
