I think Andrea would be very difficult to work with as always, why?
Last year I recall seeing an interview with Charlotte somewhere - Broadway.com, perhaps - in which she basically said that [i[she[/i] did most of the new choreography for her big number - Spread a Little Sunshine. I don't think there's anyone who's going to dance the role like her, unfortunately, though not having a Fastrada who can dance is a shame.
I initially thought Bertha, but now I'm leaning more towards Fastrada. I don't know.
And I concur with "Chicago" being fine. I've seen the show seven times in touring productions through mostly Seattle, but also once in Tacoma, and once during it's Vegas stint, and I finally saw the Broadway production last year on Adam Pascal's last performance as Billy Flynn. I was worried because everyone and their mother was harping on how "tired" the show is on Broadway, but I thought it was still just as fresh as the first time I saw it (though I did not like Amara-Faye Wright as Velma, but that's more of a personal quibble more than anything).
Now a show that really is tired and has most of the cast sleep walking through a show was "Phantom" which I saw on Broadway back in June. Tempos and pacing was slow, and no one really had a hint of energy for most of the production. It was probably the most disappointing thing I saw out of the 28 Broadway or Off-Broadway shows I have seen over the last four years I have been going to New York (and that list includes "Spider-Man" version 2)

I saw it in mid July and for me it was one of the most exhilarating nights of theater.

"I'd rather it close than become Chicago."
Hmm...personally I would rather it stay open giving a whole bunch of actors, musicians and techie people jobs. Also, I am one of those people that prefer not to assume that someone is going to be terrible in the job just because they happen to be well known. ...I would rather wait for them to try and then fail...or maybe succeed.
Just like us regular folks...there are some amazing unknowns and then there are those unknowns who are unknown for a reason. If someone can bring up ticket sales..good for them.
Ciara said on twitter that she is leaving pippin kid September probably the 21 when Andrea also leaves, so let the dream casting begin!
There's nothing on Ciara's twiiter that says she's leaving the show.
^^thanks!! I guess she's doing Hunchback after all.

I would assume she'll be doing Berthe.
