Jees-ZUS!! Is this for real? People debating others' validity due to member status? When there are far more important things like "LuPone vs. Peters" to debate.

Look, some posters do judge others by how long they've been on this site. They are fools. Ignore them. I've been a theater fan longer than many "Legends" have been alive, but never bothered with this site until March. Doesn't make my opinions greater or lesser than anyone's else's.

Aw, I've never tried to make this an intillectual attack.

But really, you don't respond to anything that doesn't fit your narrative of your victimization. Like my pointing out that Jordan was quoting you. Or the fact that it's been pointed out that no one makes you post in this "fake society" that gets you so bothered.

I think the only time I look at anything under the poster's name, is when they are obviously either trolling or the thought "shill" comes into my head to see when they joined. I could care less how long someone has been posting here -- as long as what they have to say is thoughtful.

BTW....I'm a "legend", I hold no clout, hell, half the time I think my posts are invisible.

But I participate in conversations/topics that interest me, ones I have no interest in, I just walk away.

Without taking sides (since I don't understand what the fight is about), may I provide a little perspective?

I'm on the cusp of becoming a "Broadway Legend" FOR THE SECOND TIME (I had a problem with my first log on and had to choose another)! And I've only been posting here for a little over a year.

What does that prove? That I have ignored Mark Twain's advice that it is better to remain silent and let people think I'm a fool than to open my laptop and remove all doubt.

And that's all it proves. It certainly says nothing about whether my posts were useful or interesting. And it is certainly nothing in which I take any pride.

As for the imagined conspiracy of member levels, it's probably true that I pay more attention to posts from those with whom I have exchanged comments before. But only because I recognize their hats, not because I've memorized their member levels.

And you, ChiChi, are most certainly among those who command my attention.
