Great site! I hope you will include regional theatre information too (along with touring companies). Thanks for your great work!
This is looking great! I think the Awards section needs work though. Unless I'm missing something, it only lists nomination categories but not what award it was unless you click for more info. It's very hard to read. And I know with such a large database it would be difficult to list the entire production staff, but I was disappointed to see you've listed the entire orchestra, but none of the backstage staff. The dream would be to give credit to everyone, but even just the supervisors would be nice.
Keep up the good work!
I love this! I have been hoping it would happen eventually on here, i knew you guys would do it much better than ibdb!
Also, A lot of major performers do not have any credits on there pages, such as kristin chenowith.
Dreams do come true!
If a member submits extra information to the database how long until you update the info?
Thanks x

And now I know what happened to FlyRope.
Also, the IN THE HEIGHTS banner is blocking some of the info submit box.
rel Kristin. Perhaps you're not spelling her name correctly? She's got ton of credits:

You're right there, husk_charmer :)

Hi everyone,
Submissions will be updated as quickly as possible. As you might assume, things are a little slower at first, due to the launch.
Thank you to the folks who have already submitted information!
There was a tech issue with some of the names not displaying their associated credits, but this should be resolved now. Let me know if you notice this again.
Terrific idea. It looks like you've got a really good start.
Very cool. This will answer some of those quick reference questions that we have to go to other sites for.
Keep it coming!
Very ambitious of you! I look forward to seeing the finished product. It will be great though to be able to see what is going on around the World and to be to look up shows by type.
An easy way to find older shows to, will be very helpful. I already love how all of you go the extra mile to give us exclusive interviews and video of major events. So I have complete faith this will be great too! Thanks for putting in all of the work for us.
Oooo, I can't wait to browse the site. So far, it looks great!
Terrific job, you guys!

Keep up the good work Charlie. Hopefully we get a chance to break, opps, test it soon. :) :)
Great job! This is going to be such a great resource!!!
Is there a chance that the number of performances that a production has played could be added?

My thoughts:
1) One thing that made FlyRope easy to read, was "Full Cast and Staff" was limited to the opening night cast. From there you had to click on either the character or actor's name (I forget which), to view the replacements. As it stands now, it is very overwhelming.
2) Easier forms for information adding. As it stands now, it's all paragraph forms. If you make it more of a form depending on what info is being added/corrected, the input will be easier.
3) If you can do it, a wiki-format might also be better, that way the users can add the information.
I normally like the wikie-type ability to update things, but it also opens entries up to a lot of mistakes, inaccurate content, and abuse.
The banner on top keeps blocking parts of the submission box.
One suggestion: it's not easy to find synopses for all different musicals/plays. A full synopsis for any musical would be a very good idea (as well as a tagline [a sentence that tells someone who reads it what the show is about, but not how the whole show goes]).
I'm so surprised that my aunt's show is there.
I'll see if she wants to post anymore info.
