I saw no other threads on this topic, so I thought i'd post what my friend told me, as she attended the preview last night. She said it was good, at first, saying it ran a little under three hours and was too long, but I should definately go to see it. Anyone else care to elaborate? Not the best review, but still, much better than my original expectations.
I just received a call from my nephew who there last night. He was very impressed with the show as well. I am sure there will be some more post about it after the first preview tonight.
from what I understood because it's the first preview they may be sold out so they were waiting to hear from the production about whether or not they will have student rush tickets..but it's 2 per id, 26.50 when the box office opens during previews only
"It is tacky to comment on invited dress rehearsals... Just sayin'!"
Not really. Sure it is still rehearsal but most of the time the final dress rehearsal runs fine and is just as good as the first preview. So you can get a good feel for the production and express your opinion.
The invited dress rehearsal is private. It should be commented on privately ... feedback given to the creative team directly ... not posted on a public message board.
Once the show is previewing to the paying public... go to town and have a field day posting.

Okay... so people can't give their opinions? That is completely unfair.
Besides, it's not like anyone is giving it a HORRIBLE review--if anything, the things I've read in this are things that make me want to see the show more.

I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&.
"Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."
