Pedro Pascal won it. Masculinity is the new/old drag.

Its a benefit for the Met's Costume Institute - the Museum of Modern Art is a separate entity altogether.

Lea posted some of them together on her Instagram (or maybe it was her stories). They looked fantastic!

George in DC said: "My guess is most of these people have actually never been to the MET."
I doubt if they could even name a single artist whose work is on display....in any museum! It's offensive that the Met continues to whore itself out for this event.

For goodness' sake, Jordan Roth is a fashionista who clearly loves getting dressed up for events, and, no matter what anyone thinks of his outlandish attire, he's always impeccably styled and tailored to perfection.
That entire world is about drawing attention to oneself, so I don't quite understand the problem, especially when he looks better in gowns than the majority of women on the red carpet, and I've seen him on best-dressed lists from last night for that Schiaparelli creation that tuned him into Lagerfeld's iconic fan. I often think he's a bit much, but that's what the Met Gala is about, and he usually nails the assignment perfectly.
The last time I saw him in person was at Into the Woods' closing, and he was definitely dressed way down by comparison.

I can't find who designed Platt's suit. I seecwhat they were going for, but I think it was a mistake to make the trousers from the same fabric as the jacket since they ended up looking wrinkled. The trousers should have perhaps been made from some sort of stiffer wool the same colour. If it had been a black tweed instead of white, it may have photographed better as well.
The way he wote platform shoes with the suit reminds me of something Prince might have worn. I would have liked to see the sleeves on the jacket a bit shorter, and then he could have had frilly cuffs like Prince often wore. The straight cuffs coming out of the jacket sleeves made it look ill fitting, instead of what they probably intended.
Of all the photos I've seen of everyone at the event, the person I thought was best dressed was Anne Hathaway:

The dress was great, and she looks absolutely gorgeous. Glad she has gone back to having longer hair again.

Ben's gorgeous outfit was a hand-woven tweed suit and was made of silk tulle, taffeta, chiffon, raffia, ostrich feathers and metal strips, finished with black hand-beaded trim and trompe l'oiel embroidered jewelry.
People who know nothing about fashion or the theme of this event probably shouldn't comment on either. Yikes.

Isn't it great to see so many Broadway folks in invited.
Anna Wintour loves theatre. I saw her at PARADE - she wore her sunglasses once the lights went down as they are prescription.
