According to MBFC Michael is feeling much better and due back in on tuesday Jan. 17th....Let's all keep our fingers crossed that his is really coming back.
I trust they did lysol on the fat suit. This flu is very catchy and I've had it 2 times - the second was even worse, I'm still on antibiotics. I wish Michael a Healthy Run & Future!

please god, please god, please god... I had originally heard he was coming back in on the 19th, but I have tickets for the 18th. I already have been robbed of seeing Norbert on this visit, don't take Michael Ball away from me too!

If you have also seen him last year in Gilbert & Sullivan's PATIENCE operetta ( with the New York City Opera) where he played the role of Reginald Bunthorne, that reinforces the impression of his excellent musical theatre credentials!
My only regret is that, in both shows, he was not really given a lot of songs to sing!
omg I don't even want to talk about this I am a little bitter. I am from Cali and came to NY for a week because I wanted to see Michael and catch some other shows and of course I am here while he was sick (although of course I don't blame him) I saw it with the understudy on Friday. On tuesday I went to the stage door to find out when he may be back and the actors said they were told thursday (1-12) so changed by plane ticket which was that wednesday to try and see him then but he was still sick argh!!! I am hoping to fly out for a day to see him before he leaves but I am completly broke....
That is such a shame, little_fall_of_ rain. How sad. I really hope you'll get to see him before his last day on March 12 because I doubt he's going to extend. Just my opinion.
