"Jordan is the ultimate hypocrite. He'll waste no time bashing the crazy freaks who stalk Lea Michele or Idina Menzel (and I agree... they should be bashed) but then gets all Pissy when someone expresses their resentment for people who stage door or people who complain about a stamped Fran Drescher autograph."
Huh? Duh Fuk are you talking about? This is a thread about someone clutching their pearls over someone getting an autograph. Not stalking. Reading is fun duh mental.

Posted: 6/23/14 at 4:06pmI saw the show 8PM Tuesday the 10th. She was VERY friendly, engaged me in a conversation of her own starting and smiled and chatted with everyone else there as well. Quite a gem.

Posted: 6/23/14 at 4:45pmThe OP never insinuated that he planned to stage door without having seen the show. He said that he most likely wouldn't be able to get there and, as a fan, just asked how she was. Where is all of the vitrol coming from? And OP, I don't stage door but have met Michelle a few times in social situations and she couldn't be nicer. If you should happen to get to the production, don't be shy of approaching her. She's lovely.

Posted: 6/23/14 at 6:49pmI am surprised by all this "reaction" to my original post! I was simply wondering how Michelle Williams was at the Stage Door because I am a huge fan of her movie work. I live in Ontario, Canada so will not likely get a chance to see her in "Cabaret". If I lived closer, I would definitely. I also DO NOT collect autographs unless I actually see a performance. Plus, if it comes down to a photo or autograph, I always will choose a photo. Every time I visit New York I always plan for a Wed. through Sunday visit which allows me to see six shows. I do always go to the Stage Door, am always polite and respectful of the performer.

The reaction was not to your post but to StickIt's response to your post. You don't owe anyone here an explanation of your intent.

First you harass Finding Namo about his/her identity and now you are at it again with me. You really have a problem.

Posted: 6/23/14 at 7:52pmShe is adorable and very nice, but you can tell that she has a little bit of the movie star crazies. Either way, it is wonderful to get to meet her.

Posted: 6/23/14 at 8:00pmI went to the stage door after a matinee and they gave us pre-signed Alan and Michelle playbills. I thought it was very nice of them to do that, because normally actors would just not come out and not even give pre-signed playbills.

Kevinr...you said nothing wrong to merit such a response from StickIt. Some people are simply disagreeable.

Posted: 6/23/14 at 9:26pmkevinr, don't feel bad! There wasn't anything wrong with your original question. I hope that if you do get the opportunity to come down here during her run in the show you get to see her, she's lovely in the role.

Finally got to see the show last night and Michelle did not perform. I was really disappointed as I've mentioned in other threads that she is one of my favorite actresses and I was excited to see her. Now I won't get the chance and who knows if she will ever come back.
Oh well. I am going to go to the stage door Friday night with my extra Playbill, so hoping she is on that night. At least I will be able to tell her how much I appreciate her work.
On another topic. Andrea Goss is absolutely fantastic as Sally. If I didn't know she was an understudy, I would have thought she was the lead. Perfect performance. So if Michelle calls out (which I hear she's been doing a lot lately) and you are there, leave you troubles outside. You're in excellent hands. :)
