Anne Frank museum reported that Miep Gies, who helped hide the Frank family, has died. Reminded me that some of the best theater comes from real life acts of kindness, courage, bravery, etc.

Very sad news. But she lived a very long, fulfilled life. She was truly a heroic woman. My thoughts are with her family.

Rest in Peace. One of the bravest women of all time. She was a beautiful person who lived a long life and was so humble she never considered herself a hero. A true model of a life dedicated to common good and well being. The world will be very different without Miep Gies.
