"Monster's Inc." on Broadway?-POLL

Broadway New York had a recent poll, and asked what Disney should come to the stage. 47% of people voted "Monster's Inc." should, with the next being "Mulan" at only 11%. What do you guys think of this? Can any of you guys imagine "Monster's Inc." on stage?

I mean if this continues it's gonna be Mamma Mia!, Wicked, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins,. Monsters Inc, AND Mul;an.

I think Monsters Inc. would be pretty stupid on-stage, although they did do an on ice version.

I would love to see Mulan on stage though.

To be completely honest, I think Hercules is the ONLY Disney movie that could totally blow most everything on broadway currently out of the water.

It's just a very "stagey" animated movie.

I dont really want to see more disney on Broadway, even if it is Hercules. I'm just saying that out of the disney movies, Hercules would be my first choice.

Last time I was in California Adventures they had a stage version of Aladdin playing at their theater, although I didn't get the chance to see it.

Compared to all the theater in NYC, Disney has very little...

I saw the Aladdin at California's Adventure. It is ok, good for a theme park show, maybe if they embellished upon it. I would love Mulan and Hercules.

I was in Aladdin Jr. I can't really see it on Broadway for some reason though.

I think Hercules and Aladdin would translate very well to the stage. Monsters Inc. would look kinda weird on stage. I think Mulan would also work well. Lea Salonga would be great in the role of Mulan.

What about Pocahontus(sp?)? I loved that movie, haven't see it in FOREVER though.

Hmm- A TIm Burton movie would be an interesting show. We already have the Matthew Bourne ballet of Edward S.
