Posted: 11/22/05 at 10:53pmPlease don't. I initially had intention to moo, but when watching the movie you quickly realize that you really shouldn't. You'll be too amused by the TV monitors anyways.

Posted: 11/22/05 at 10:57pmYou're the precise reason most people wait for DVD releases rather than be disturbed by other people's "right to have fun" in a theater.

If I'm paying 10 bucks a ticket, don't I have the right to enjoy the movie without your mooing?
Have a little consideration. You're not in your living room.

Posted: 11/22/05 at 11:00pmOy. Please don't. You're right that you're paying money and you have the right to have fun, and you will.... but don't completely ruin the movie for other people. It's obnoxious. That's the prime way to scare off all non-RENTheads from seeing this.

Posted: 11/22/05 at 11:00pmPaying 10 dollars to hear me moo is a gift. You are lucky you're only paying 10 dollars, I usually charge more for that kind of thing.

Really? I found it hilarious.
Idina, be my mooer.
Can't you imagine the chorus of moos led by Idina? Oh, it will be so grand!

There's nothing wrong with mooing in movie theaters.
I did it during "The Pianist," "Passion of the Christ" and "Schindler's List." It really lightened the mood during those downers.

I would like to do a survey of the ages of the people who are mooing. Maybe its my age but I think its sad and pathetic, and just as annoying as the "turn around the killer is behind you" bitch who sat behind me during all three scream movies.
You want to talk, scream, "have fun" wait for dvd, or ask your theater to have a audience participation show.

Hey, old guy here.
I saw Rent shortly after it opened.
I had no idea what you were talking about with regards to the mooing, so I did a search.
I guess that there is some audience participation that I wasn't aware of. How long has this been going on?

I'm almost 18, and I consider myself very mature, but hey, if Idina wants me to moo, I'm gonna.

Posted: 11/22/05 at 11:18pmI'm all for people having fun, but not in ways that detract from the experience of those around them. I've been to quite a few concerts where the audience wouldn't stop screaming and clapping and cheering during the slow melancholy piano ballads and it's really annoying when you're unable to enjoy what you paid to see because the people around you have to make it all about them.

Billboard Girl you must not go to many concerts, because people NEVER stop screaming during concerts, no matter what the song. Which, yes, I agree, sucks during the slow songs, but it happens.
I would hope that whoever you saw could sing OVER the screaming. If not, you didn't get your money's worth lol.
