You want DSM to go from Lion King for the State Fair last year to Spring Awakening next year? I wouldn't expect that edgy of a show to be used as the State Fair show, especially considering it has to be able to fill up seats for a month long run.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for Rochester, NY sometime next year, but who knows?

Yeah if Spring Awakening does come to Dallas it would come in the Contemporary Series during the winter season. They wouldn't put it in the regular summer season.

The majority have been cast.
A lot are up-and-coming youngsters from top musical theatre programs in College.
Very exciting fresh performers... should be marvelous, darling.

I believe they still need to cast a few swings and maybe a principle part or two and are waiting till after the NY call, then they will finish casting.

I wasn't telling you, I was telling Evie which roles I heard hadn't been cast yet. I understood exactly what you said.

They haven't cast a Wendla yet.
And some distant relative better not come on here claiming their "second cousin" got cast as Wendla.... because, my dear, that would be a big lie.
VERY diverse cast. there is an African-American, an Asian, and Hispanic in three of the featured roles. I'm excited. let's mix it up baby.

Yeah, I've heard they're looking for a Wendla and a Wendla swing. I heard some rumors about a certain cast member coming back to star in the tour, but I think they were just that: rumors. So I guess we'll see pretty soon after the open call.
