I hope it comes to Los Angeles! I just assumed it would. I hope I don't have to drive down to San Diego to see it.

I don't know if they're looking at T-PAC in Nashville (it always gets compliments from the touring companies about EVERYTHING) this time out... They're not announcing their season until April 2.

I talked to one of my sources here in Baltimore back in January. It's rumored that the show will stop here as well.
The thing is, that's not even the biggest show we're rumored to get.

I would love if it stopped in Minneapolis, but I don't think it's going to happen for some reason.

I doubt Michael would bring the show into DSM. Lots of people were just DISGUSTED that it won the Tony Award! "It won't tour in ANY cities except for Denver, SF and Chicago!"
I see it going to Bass Hall in Fort Worth.

Our season is set here in Denver. However, there are a few blocks of dates open. I suspect that if we get it, it will be somewhere between October and November. Drowsy is here Oct. 14-26 and then Jersey Boys comes in Dec. 11-Jan 3. Not sure when the tour starts, but I doubt it will be here between July and mid August. The Democratic Convention will be here and I hear that the DCPA may be used for part of that. I suspect that if we get it, it will be early in 2009.

Ugh... TPAC (Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville) probably will NOT get it due to the subject matter. And also the fact that they haven't seem to have gotten ANYTHING very interesting recently...
(Just moved back to Nashville 8 months ago, and am already dying to get to theater in NYC in April and back to Chicago in May. Loving being back here in Nashville, but missing the theater...)

Cleveland, anyone? We get a lot of good stuff pretty quickly. We have Jersey Boys this summer. I had hoped by next summer we'd get SA. It doesn't really matter though. I saw it last fall, but I want to see it again!
You look absolutely terrific, honestly.

To PhanaticSanna:
It'll probably be in LA at the beginning of the New Year. My guess is because producers probably want it to be in the Mark Taper Forum instead of the Ahmanson.

What about Boston?
It doesn't seem like Boston's getting very many good tours coming through for the 2008-2009 season.

I'm hearing Cleveland, (nothing is confirmed for next year except Legally Blonde because Playhouse Sq. is an investor in that show) but I am worried that the State or the Palace will be too big a house to do this show justice. From a technical stand point these tours love to come to Cleveland early because it is an easy place to play with almost no adjustments needed because of limited stage capabilities. Cleveland is also close to a lot of other similar sized cities so the big houses fill up with folks from Western PA, Central Ohio, & West Va.
