Ok, so it's some special TV concert, but is that Molly Ringwald who gets to sing the one line "You can say that again"?
I mean, seriously?
Sarah Jessica Parker performs Annie

I love that SJP makes it quasi-sexual.
That said, she isn't bad, I'd like to hear more of her "Annie"

I don't think she sucked. She was singing like she talks. Nothing wrong with that. She was a teen anyway. And it's not like you have to be an uber good singer to be Annie, Andrea McArdle got better with age and training. So give SJP a break!
She still looks like a horse.

As for Molly Ringwald: I saw her in Caberet a number of years ago and was REALLY impressed with her, much to my suprise.
(Side note: a woman in the front row had an apparent heart attack during the Ringwald's opening number, and she showed so much class is stopping the show and calling for house management. By the time they started the show up again, at the begining of that number, it was almost 40 minutes later. By the END of the song, you'd forgotten what had happened. At intermission, house management made a very class announcement that the woman removed was reportedly fine.)

Posted: 3/10/08 at 2:23amWouldn't the most thankless Broadway job EVER be the person who scrubs the toilets after the audience leaves? Even Molly Ringwald hasn't had to do that, yet. And, please - no disrespect at ALL for the persons that DO have that job. Thank you.
