Hey kids,
Beginning this Friday, Feb. 17, and for the following two Fridays (Feb. 24 and March 3), I'll be guest hosting Mostly Sondheim Fridays at The Duplex whilst host Brandon Cutrell 'away'. Joining me will be power belter diva Kate Pazakis and the delicious, the delectable, the defiant Ray Fellman at the piano.
The evening begins at 11pm. Come, get liquored up, take the mic and belt out your favorite showtune.
The Duplex is located on the corner of 7th Ave South and Christopher Street. Hope to see you all there!
And anyone who sings something from Pacific Overtures gets a drink on me!

Forgive me for asking something that is probably a well known fact by everyone but me, but how much is the cover charge/ drink min?
There is no cover charge or drink minimum. Unless it changed.

Ronin, don't you have a good fake ID by now? I'm sure one of Robbie's hoodlum friends can hook you up.
I've never been carded at the Duplex.
Every time I've tried to go they card me (I look young), but I think I've only tried to go twice. Except for Scott Alan's New Voices thing, I've been to that twice and both times I hung out for a little while at the bar and and stuff and nobody said anything to me.
Heh, no fake ID. I dunno, often I don't get carded. I'm almost 21!

Not sure what you look like Bobby, but closeup, Ronin looks like he's fresh out of junior high -- like he's not a day over 16. Hence he'd best have a good fake cuz there's no way he's NOT gonna be carded going anywhere except Chuck E. Cheese.
Go in old age makeup!
-_-
*crawls into a hole*
Isn't it virtually impossible to make a good fake idea anymore?

Depends. If a place uses a bar code scanner, it's very hard to come up with a fake that'll work. But, most places just have one guy standing there with a flashlight, so depending on how experienced he is, it's usually not hard to come up with one official-looking enough to fool most bouncers.

And don't hide Joey -- there's nothing wrong with looking (and being) so young, kiddo
LOL BobbyBubby!
