Correct me if i'm wrong but most shows billed as PRE-BROADWAY as in, plans are set to come in....don't have the NY critics come out for the shows. Same thing with CHER etc....Sometimes the producers request it but often when they "know" they're coming in when they're out of town they don't get a Times review.
Also last night was an Opening Gala for the colonial and not the official press night.....

When I stage-doored last time, I think Jeigh Madjus (Babydoll) said the show opening night was the 2nd or 3rd of August; I don't recall which it was. But I seem to remember the 3rd being opening night having been mentioned before?

Original opening night was supposed to be last week July 22nd but since the first preview was postponed, the opening night was changed too --- though I haven't seen any official date online but I'd imagine it would be sometime this week?
I'm rather curious what some critics think of this show.
