In an ideal world, we wouldn't need to call on big names to sell a movie. But we do.

It could get a lot worse that Beyonce and Christina Aguilera, so if it turns out they are cast...be thankful we weren't landed with Miley Cyrus and Paris Hilton.

You People Are All Assuming There Is Gonna Be A Movie We Dont No For Sure Yet But I Really Hope There Is And If There Is They Wont Have Everything From The Stage Show In The Movie Some Songs Will Dropped As Well As Some Characters And Scenes...On An Another Subject, You Will Need To Get The OBC If You Want It To Be Anywhere Near As Good As The Stage Show Or At Least Get Adam Pascal - Radames

Capital letters are not required for every word in a sentence.

& yes having actual Broadway stars perform in the movie would be great, but when has any recent movie musical been filled with non-celebrities?

I just saw Mama Mia and they should have used someone from the play, it was so miss cast. The stars couldnt sing and made it awful to listen to. It is such a fun story but you need the right people, not actors who are stars who cant sing. I am afraid what they will do to Aida. I dont think the OBC is to old, you can do alot with makeup if someone thinks so.

Makeup can only do so much, especially with movie close-ups.
