Hello! So I recently bought VERY expensive Dear Evan Hansen tickets on Stubhub. They are not great seats, they are far right mezz seats in Row E. Upon further investigation, I've found that my view will be obstructed by the box seats, which jut out quite a bit. Can anyone confirm? Also, I'd like to know if anyone thinks it is worth getting a refund from Stubhub as they did not label my seats as partial view.
Telecharge doesn't indicate they are partial view, either, though?

I can't imagine that any seats in the Music Box mezz are obstructed... that doesn't make sense to me.

I don't think you're getting a bad view of the stage. I've made a quick research on a website called A VIEW FROM MY SEAT and the photos indicate that they're actually pretty good seats. Here you can take a look at the view:
Mezz, Row E, Seat 4: http://aviewfrommyseat.com/photo/65820/Music+Box+Theatre/section-Mezzanine+Right/row-E/seat-4/
And then a view from Mezz, Row H, Seat 11: http://aviewfrommyseat.com/photo/65955/Music+Box+Theatre/section-MEZZ/row-H/seat-11/
Go for it! Enjoy.
The box seats will NOT be in your way. Relax and enjoy the show!
IMO, the Music Box is one of the best theatres. Not a bad seat in the house :)

Box seats are marked as partial view and the view was excellent with most if not all of the action taking place mid-stage. I also just bought row B, seats 26 and 28 which are also marked as partial view which I believe will also be great seats - same price as box ($70) - great value.

Anshel, the OP is not saying they bought box seats. They're worried about their view being obstructed by the boxes.
Two questions, I'm almost 6 foot and am sitting in the front row of the mezzanine. How is the leg room? Other question is how are box seats purchased? Thanks.
Only slightly OT: I just yesterday saw "Evan..." at the Music Box, and can attest that sitting upstairs -- just about anywhere -- is terrific for this show. A great deal of the staging places the action downstage center. You're looking there about 75% of the time. It keeps the show surprisingly intimate. For those finding it difficult to locate the perfect seats for this show, sit upstairs, anywhere they can seat you. You won't miss the show, and you'll see and hear perfectly. This isn't the Minskoff or the Gershwin, and even the very last row provides the full "Evan Hansen..." experience (I was in the next to the last). It's a rare day when we can celebrate cheaper seats. They're good here, and thus a bargain.

Hi everyone! Wanted to get your opinion on if you think Orch H 9-11 are too far to the side for DEH? These are the best seats I can get for my preferred date. I can get Orch L 2-4 on an alternate date, but that would be the day I fly into Newark landing at 4PM and I always get a little nervous booking a show for the day I arrive (I've been burned before by delayed flights).
I you'll be fine

The leg room in the front row of the mezzanine is great.
Box seats can only be purchased in person at the Music Box box office. They're $69 each.

Is one side of the stage better than the other for box seats? Also, are there partial view orchestra seats available at the box office for the same price as the boxes ($69)? I will be near the box office today and I'm wondering if I should try to purchase for a future visit. Thanks!

The orchestra partial view seats are the same price as the boxes, yes ($69 each), and they are only available at the box office as well.
One more question. Would the $69 seats be available day of the show at the box office? Or are they being sold in advance? Thanks again!
