Hi everyone,
I desperately need help finding musical theatre songs about immigration for a project. I'm already going to look into "Titanic" and probably use "America" from "West Side Story". Does anyone else possibly know any songs or shows that would work for the theme? I really appreciate it

Spanish Rose from Bye Bye Birdie about prejudice and assumptions about who is an "American". Not really about "immigrants" but perceptions of same.

In the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical about sectarian violence in Northern Ireland ( A Beautiful Game, now called The Boys from the Photograph), two women sing a poignant duet. One is about to leave her country ( for political and economic reasons) while the other chooses to stay in a country wracked with internal conflict.
Their song is called GOD'S OWN COUNTRY - a song about the country they love!

There's a few from Songs for a New World: Opening: The New World and then On the Deck of a Spanish Sailing Ship.
